"You are your handshake" Jamie Leigh Curtis

There is much for our children to learn from early childhood until the time they leave home and there is precious little time to teach them everything they need to know. It is very interesting when you think we, as parents, do everything in our power to educate our children academically, and quite often neglect to provide them with some of the very tools they need to excel in their future. Recent studies conducted by Harvard University, Stanford Research Institute and the Carnegie Foundation have led to the same conclusion: 85% of an individual’s success in getting a job, keeping a job and getting promoted is directly related to social skills.

As adults, we know that to be true. However, as parents we are on overload and do not have the time to teach more than the basics along with please and thank you. This is good but not nearly enough to stand out in today’s competitive world. Other parents may not know the social graces and etiquette needed for success in this country.

“Good manners will unlock doors that the best education will not.”

Junior Manners Cotillion caters to parents who want to give their children the competitive edge for success. These are parents who understand that learning social skills, manners and etiquette is the foundation on which all other skills will be added. The earlier a child learns and develops these skills, the more confidence and self-assured the child will become. It is the greatest gift you can give your child.

The programs we offer are “Treasured Times” because the skills that are learned are of great value. These are the qualities private schools, universities, and employers are looking for. They are also called “Treasured Times” because of the memories made. Former students come back and they reminisce on their time spent in Cotillion. Fifth Grade to ninth grade is such a short window of time to make these memories.

If you are a parent who sees the value of this training and is looking to give your child the competitive edge, we invite you to peruse through Program Features and select the age appropriate class for your child.
